WHO ARE WE?
R.E.D. (Residency Eina Danz) is a regional competence center for dance, and an international, national and local art and cultural arena, with the main focus on interdisciplinary residency activities, production of dance and film of high quality, and reaching out to a wide audience. Since 2018, R.E.D. has been recognized as a regional competence center for dance by the Norwegian Cultural Council, and has received support as a residence center from Innlandet (formerly Oppland) since 2014.
R.E.D. was established in 2013 on a farm overlooking the Einafjord in Vestre Toten outside Oslo. Situated in the middle of the fantastic Norwegian landscape, R.E.D. is surrounded by local farms and large natural areas, perfect for exploring culture and nature, and for providing unique experiences.
Our mission

To offer artist residencies, which include housing and creative workspaces for local and international artists, to create work at a high international level.

To function as a concentrated center for artistic development outside the urban landscape for interdisciplinary artists and groups.

To produce and participate in film and dance projects.

To be a programming stage and host an annual film festival, performances, concerts, workshops and exhibitions throughout the year.

To be an open arena for local artists and arrange projects specifically aimed at children and young people.

To bring projects to Norway that would not otherwise take place, and communicate this to as many people as possible.

To inspire the local community with international influence, as well as to be a portal for exchange.

To be a leading production house and center for dance in Norway.
